Jerry-   Wow! I am sorry that your Physician told you there isn't anything else they can do for you. I am a Diabetic also and I would be very upset if someone I trusted with my health told me something like that. I would recommend you going to another Physician or to see an Endocrinologist. I would get a second opinion. I am not a Doctor but if your blood sugar goes from 300 on up it sounds like you could be suffering from insulin resistance or you maybe having other issues besides diabetes that needs to be looked at. DO NOT LET THIS GO WITH OUT SEEKING ANOTHER OPINION. Your blood sugar is too high and you don't want to end up in the hospital. You have to take care of yourself and if you have to seek a second opinion you should do so. Diabetes is a manageable disease, you have to be willing to fight with your current Doc or go else where.  You have to be Pro-Active with your health, if you give up your voice will not be heard and your health will get worse. There is always an answer, sometimes you have to find the right person to want to find the answer.    Good Luck Cherise Community Moderator      If you click on the highlighted words it will take you to an article about insulin resistance.
