wy all restaurant do not post sign's for free sugar meals all over the country?
I'm not sure if you are type 1 or type 2. But remember diabetics CAN have sugar in small amounts as long as you take the right amount of insulin. Sugar is not a killer of diabetes. High numbers are. But a person can have high numbers from any sorts of things. You may have a much higher number from a piece of bread, then a bite of a snickers bar. Sugar does NOT "poison" your blood sugar.

Hello! Sugar doesn't poison your blood sugar
. You can have sugar in moderation. The main thing to watch other than sugar would be Carbohydrates (Carbs). Back in the hay days people thought of diabetes as a sugar disease and it's not. Carbohydrates is what causes your glucose levels to raise. Eating tons of them at once can cause your glucose levels to raise. Carbohydrates are breads, pasta, cereal and much more. The key to being a diabetic is still being able to enjoy life and being able to do so in moderation. There are a lot of restuarants who have low carb meals. I know Applebee's, Olive Garden and Red Lobster, just to name a few, have low carb meals for their customers.
Speaking from my own experience, just because it says "Sugar Free" doesn't mean it really is.
