I'm not sure if you are type 1 or type 2. But remember diabetics CAN have sugar in small amounts as long as you take the right amount of insulin. Sugar is not a killer of diabetes. High numbers are. But a person can have high numbers from any sorts of things. You may have a much higher number from a piece of bread, then a bite of a snickers bar. Sugar does NOT "poison" your blood sugar.
