Q: blood sugar levels

How long should it take for my blood sugar to go down? Levemir is not working.I also take januvia and metformin sugar levels are still between 145 & 200.I am type2

It depends on what you are eating. Too much sugar, too many carbs? Were you recently diagnosed? I had a hard time changing my diet the first few months, so my BG was still usually 150-180.

If you are eating properly then the drugs aren't strong enough and you should consult your doctor.

I have an appointment for next week and have discovered some foods that seem to trigger higher sugar levels.I have since been able to get lower levels ranging around 120.Thanks for your recent post.IN addition I was diagnosed about a month ago.
