Never Been Happier
Topics:Type 2diet

New blood results good for sugar. Went from 6.4 DOWN to 6.1 and lost 3 more lbs. (BUT)  My Triglycerides went UP from 166 to 224  !!!!!!   Please unconfuse me?   I did stop Crestor and returned to Lovastatin during that period. Tell me its something I ate rather than the meds. I'm trying to ween myself away from meds... so my doctor will loose her drug kick back benefits. Thanks!

Except for your triglyceride numbers, you are doing very well. Keep it up!

However, you don't say how few grams of carbs that you eat. If you limit it to 40-50 grams of available carbs per day, I know that your triglyceride numbers will go way DOWN.
