Topics:Flu Shots and Diabetes

We both had our shots together at 8:30am in the doctors office today. My wife is NOT a Diabetic like I am yet after she checked me at 4pm and I jumped to 330 from normal she checked herself and she was up to 325!  [Only salads all day]. Too coincidental that both of us had high sugar readings. Whats in those Flu Shots?  We get the shots every year and never noticed this before. Thanks.

Hello! You should consult your physician, let him or her know what's going on.  You could be experiencing flu like systems (it happens to some people) and it goes away.  If your bg's continue to rise and doesn't go back down, call your physician. BTW, thank you for reminding me to get my flu shot.
