Q: i do not have diabetes but my blood sugar has rissen to over 200 ever time i test. why?

i am a 65 yr old women with no history of diabetes but suddenly my blood sugar has shot up to over 200 every time i get it tested.  what are some of the reasons this could have happened?  i have not changed my diet nor my daily medication.  i am on high blood presure medication

Hello! I am not a doctor but I think you should talk to a Doctor. You may have diabetes. Your physician will be able to run the appropriate test to see if you are a diabetic or not.  I am sorry to say but from the sound of it, you are a diabetic.

It has happened because you now have diasbetes, check with you doctor.

You probably do have diabetes now. Or the blood pressure meds are causing this. I would check with your docor asap. :)
