Q: is metformin good or bad
It is good
I have been told that sometimes patients will have to be taken off Metformin if the protein levels are staying elevated. The way I understood it that this can cause kidney damage
I use metformin for the past 3 years. I have no problems at all. I was diagnosed type 2 in 01/07 with a A1C of 13.5. now 11/23/09, it's 5.4. Have a great holidays. Officer Mitchell
