I am a type 2 diabetic who is now on prednisone and using high dose sliding scale humulin R. I have been having some pretty bad muscle spasms in my hands. My cousin told me she can not use humulin R because it causes muscle cramps in her legs. Could my muscle spasms in my hands be related to the insulin?
