Hi, I am on metformin and I had some real dizzie and stomach upsets, is this a side affect.?

I have been on metformin for about 1 year and a half. I usually get an upset stomach and at one time I got so dizzie that I went to the e.r. that was 2 months ago. they thought it was vertigo. But, yesterday, I got dizzie again and I am okay now.Has any one every had these type of side affects with…
