Topics:weight gain

I've had diabetes since age 8, now being 32 they switched me over to novorapid and lantus a litlle over a year ago, i've always been on novolin and nph before, ever since the switch i must of gained a good 30 lbs, the doctors say i must exercise, to wich i respond, well i've been exercising BEFORE the lantus, and never had any issues, but now all i do is gain weight (fat), what's  worse is  the more i try to burn, the more the body stores, I am at a loss here, i've switched doctors over, but i think that the concept might be too comlicated for them, anyone here have a suggestion as to how i can loose the weight and keep it off ?

Thank You

Pjaneiro-

Hello! Have you changed your diet at all?  I know when I first started out on the pump I gained a few pounds, due to eating more carbs.   Look at your diet, check your carb intake.  You may have to do a trial and error along with exercise.  I was able to decrease my weight by going back to a strict low carb diet.  I understand exactly where you are coming from.  I hope it get's better for you.
