Jasmine-

Hello! If you forgot to place your insulin pen in the frige, don't worry it's ok to use.  You just want to make sure you keep your unopened pens stored in the frige. I use to think insulin had to be refrigerated but my Endo said it didn't.

I store my insulin cartridges in the fridge.  Once it is in the pen it is kept out on my work surface so I don't forget to take it.  Eac penfill lasts about 5 days.  I have been told that this is O.K.

Once your insulin pens are open they are fine out of the fridge for 28 days.
