I seem to have a problem getting my sugar under control. I consistently have readings over 175, and occasionally as high as 300. I have neuropathy also. To be honest, I am tired. It seems like a losing battle for me. My doctor seems to just want to throw meds at me and keeps adding meds to the regimen, but never seems to take any away. I could restock a pharmacy with all of the meds they have me taking. I feel like I need to start all over. How can I approach this quandry in a sensible manner?

Any one of you would probably be shocked at the number of meds I am SUPPOSED to be taking. Not just for diabetes but other "diagonosed" ailments. Some of these meds or so called cures are worse than the supposed ailments and keep me from functioning on a daily basis. I try to watch my diet and be active, but it just doesn't seem to be working. I need help with this, but not in the form of more drugs.
