HOw to get off insulin? Is there something else that will not make you gain weight?

how will I be able to get off insulin??? I have gained so much weight with the insulin that I need to get off it to lose the weight?

I have been type 2 diabetic since 1999. I started with medication and then was put on insulin. Since I have been on insulin I have gained all my weight back without being able to lose any weight. Can I get off insulin? I need to lose weight and the more I try the more I gain.........
