Q: I've read that removal of the omentum has had very positive results with controlling Diabetes.
National Institutes of Health did a study:

What is the connection between growth of the omentum in a 80 yr male diabetic, diabetes diagnosed 20 yrs ago, no fat anywhere until started on insulin 2 yrs ago, now with a football size omentum?
