Q: just recenty was in the hospital fro heart issues and my AC1 was 12 will be meeting with my doctor

ac1 was 12 in the hospital have had issues but never this high having a heart issue and will be having a procedure next week bad valve they say its arching or fluttering about 161 A minute but controlling with meds. also have a clot in my heart reason for the delay on the procedure thinning the blood. But while in the hospital my ac1 reading was 12 will be getting with my doctor after the procedure next week. What can  i do in the mean time.

When I was first diagnosed with Diabetes my A1C was 17.  At that time I had no idea what that meant which I'm glad I did not know.  I now know that your morning fasting A1C should not go over 7.  Your problem could be the medications you are taking for your heart.
