Hi there,
You're in a tricky position because:
1. anti-depressants and pain meds can lead to insulin insensitivity which will only increase your blood sugars and making Type 2 more challenging to control.
2. Erratic blood sugars lead to depression! Your brain is so reliant on that second by second delivery of glucose, that when we mess up how much it's getting, putting it through a vicious rollercoaster cycle on a regular basis, we were end up impacting our brain's ability to feel happy.
I've lived with the ol' Type 1 diabetes for 11 years, and celiac. I'm also a powerlifter, and a cognitive health and chronic illness coach. (Here's my site...and my YouTube Channel.)
If you'd ever like to chat, shoot me an email at Ginger@living-in-progress.com and we schedule a free 30 minute session so you can see how I might be able to truly help you.
