Hello JG932,   Glucophage and Riomet are different brand names for the same medication, Metformin. You can read about them here in the Drugs database. Since they are both the same medication, it's probably safe to say that there are no drug interactions but it is not wise to take them together unless your doctor has prescribed larger doses of Metformin for treating your type 2 diabetes. You run the risk of experiencing low blood sugar, hypoglycemia.   While online resources are wonderful for helping you manage your care, nothing takes the place of your doctor's advice. See your doctor or your pharmacist if you have been prescribed medications that you have questions about, particularly if you have been prescribed these two together. Hope this helps!
