This question is tricky and I am not a doctor so take this with a grain of salt. I do know that stress and adrenaline can affect bloodsugar and in my case it tends to make it rise. I personally take a minimal dose of Klonopin for anxiety as needed but not more than once daily and not for long stretches of time and it works for me to calm nerves and provide an overall feeling of peace that can be comforting during stressful situations. It has not affected my bloodsugar. I do notice that when my adrenaline gets pumping my sugar rises sometimes spiking quite rapidly. I think a doctor would be able to provide good suggestions.
