Q: Why does my blood glucose go high about three hours after I have ate breakfast?

I check my fasting blood glucose at 8:15 am it was 135 mg/dl. I ate an scrambled egg and walked for 30 mins. I check my blodd glucose at 9:53 am it was 175 mg/dl. I then check it at 10:25 am it was 140 mg/dl. I checked my blood sugar at 11:56 am and it was 180 mg/dl . I then dranked a glasss of water and ate a salad. At 12:40 pm my blood glucose was 154 mg/dl, at 1:19pm it was 173 mg/dl , at 1:38 pm it was 159 mg/dl, at 3:10 it was 151mg/dl and 4:51 pm it was 116 mg/dl. All the checking I did after lunch and had not ate anything. It always seems that my blood sugar is the lowest around 5 pm.

Hello! The first thing I was going to say is maybe you are eating complex carbs but by the information you are giving me that's not it.  You should try checking your bg's about 30 minutes to an hour after you exercise, you'll see it decrease.  Are you on insulin or do you take oral medication?
