Q: My glucose counts have been on the rise averaging between 200-400. I am on 55 units of Apidra

Apidra 3 times daily plus a sliding scale plus 65 units of Levemir at night. Any suggestions about how to control my sugars. I eat a very healthy diet as well.

Wow! I am not sure where to start because if you are taking that much insulin it seems like something else maybe wrong or you need some major adjustments.  Are you on an insulin pump? Do you exercise? are you insulin resistant?  There could be a lot of factors. Are you taking enough insulin to cover your meals? You should consult your physician because he or she will be able to help you make the adjust you may need.
