my wife was recently put on levemir. but it seems her sugar levels are higher now then before she to

it seems her levels are higher now then before she was on the insulin. she takes 12 units 2x aday ,same time everyday. her diet is well controlled but her sugar numbers seem to be ranging from 200-365. before the insulin she hardly ever went over 210.
