Can you take Byetta and not be a diabetic

I have a friend that is taking Byetta 5mg and she is not a diabetic. I have heard that it will make you very sick.Please tell me. I am really worried about my friend.

Your friend is fine. Byetta will help her to lose weight and to reduce her blood glucose level, which is probably above normal, since she is probably taking it because of pre-diabetes. Don't worry about her.

HI LINDA IAM ALSO TAKING BYETTA AND IAM NOT DIABETIC MY DOCTOR TOLD ME I NEEDED TO LOSE WEIGHT, THAT'S WHY IAM TAKING SHE ALSO SAID I WAS PREDIABETIC SO DONT WORRY SHE WILL BE FINE.
