Ive only been diagnosed with type 1 for 3 months. My levels were fine and insulin was great. I was using the 15:1 ratio. However, My levels have been really really high only recently... My level was 226 and i took 12u of insulin and only ate 35g of carbs, planning on eating a little bit later. However, I took my levels and it was 207!! Im wondering if my insulin lost its umph... i go to the beach alot and i heard that heat can make insulin ineffective... HELP!
