Sleep apnea/diabetes and diabetic cook books
While waiting for my husband's first rx for Metformin, I picked up Diabetic Living magazine. On the Q&A page, a person was told that sleep apnea is associated with diabetes. I have thought for some time that my husband has sleep apnea. Is there an article regarding this? Also, I'd like to know if you recommend any diabetes cook books? I noticed that Prevention has one, but I'd like to buy one that is not only a good starter cookbook, but that will have tasty menus and other suggestions. My husband has a really high stress job (until the end of the year when it is supposed to get much better) and I only work part time, so I do all of the cooking and often prepare breakfast and lunch for him to take to work. I am not an expert cook, but I'm a pretty good one, so the cooking level doesn't much matter. Thank you for your assistance. SSC
