Q: Metformin is said to prevent absorption of B12. Can someone please elaborate on this subject.

B12 is essential for preventing Anemia and Dementia. Metformin is a very useful drug for diabetics. Metformin does not induce hypoglycemia. Metformin also helps offset the wait gain associated with Insulin. At what doses of Metformin the B12 absorption is impeded.?
