My 15 yo daughter has type 1 diabetes. Is she at a higher risk for contracting swine flu.

My 15 year old has diabetes and he is no more suspectible to getting other diseases than anyone else.  If anything, he seems to be less likely.

 

If your daughter picked up every bug that went around before diabetes, she will continue to do so.  If she misses a lot of bugs, that will happen as well.
