Q: Vitamin D and blood sugar levels

Can increasing Vitamin D input to over 2000 I U s affect your blood sugar levels? It is the only thing I can think of that I have change and my levels have gone up to 175-185 from 135-145. I have type 2 and take metformin.

Hello! I am not sure if Vitamin D will make your blood sugar rise. Speaking from my own experience I am Type 1.5/LADA, it doesn affect my blood sugar. Vitamin D is suppose to help tame it and keep it controlled.
