Q: not sure if prescription i got is the right thing....

I've been recently diagnosed with diabetes (in late February)......I had missed a lot of work...and an organization was going to help me with my prescriptions. I noticed that the markings on my tablet are different from the original. When I checked the pics here, I could not find one with these numbers. I am using metformin......on my original prescription there is 4432 on one side and 1000 on the other. The prescription I just got from the charitable pharmacy has Z 71 on one side and nothing on the other. I was just trying to figure out if I got the right thing.  I only noticed this because I did not feel well all day Thursday.....and when I got home, I noticed the difference on the tablet. I just don't want to be taking something that is not right......and I can't call the pharmacy until Tuesday, because of the Memorial Day holiday....

Any help on this matter would be appreciated......

Thank you.
