Hi Robert, Your flight attendant will likely be more than helpful in keeping it in the galley fridge for you.

Robert,

There are several diabetes carrying packs that you can purchase that keep a frozen pack in it to keep insulin cold, but not frozen while you are travelling.  I have used one of them to go from the U.S. to Spain and back and it never effected my insulin.  Check in dLife or ADA for ideas where to find the packs.

THE BEST WAY TO KEEP INSULIN COOL ON FLIGHTS IS TO TAKE THE VIAL AND USE IT AS A PROPOLACTIVE, MOST RECTUMS IVE BEEN IN ARE MUCH COOLER THEN AMBIENT AIR AND TSA DOESNT BOTHER ANY TRAVELER WHO INFORMS THE AIRLINES ABOUT YOUR SPECIAL NEEDS BEFORE ARIVAL.
