I use to have one and my younger brother needed to check his blood sugar. I brought it out and the pencil like poker botton broke on me. So, I tried to fix it but no can do! My brother and I to each of our own if we could find a way to find out where we can get one of those meters. We appreciated with much gratitude on your behalf if you can or, anyone could help us out! Check with your local pharmacy. Quite often they run specials were they are totally free. They also instruct you as to the opeation of the new meter. If you just need a lancer, I would ask if they have any new ones for sale. Mine usually does. Good Luck!
