I don't think there is anything wrong with using vinegar tablets.  You should consult your Physician before starting any regimen.  I heard liquid vinegar maybe a little better because of it's purity. David Mendosa is one of our community experts, he wrote a sharepost about the Dawn Phenomenon and he mentioned using the vinegar tablets before bed to help lower his fasting Bg's.  You can buy them at any local drugstore.  Take care and let me know how the tablets work for you.
