My son is diagnosed as insulin resistant and has not been officialy diagnosed with type 2 diabetes yet. Recently I found info regarding the connection of type 1 diabetes and celiac disease. My son has many symptoms (chronic headaches, frequent bowel movements and sometimes diarrhea, he battles with his weight and most recently is always very tired). Is their any instances of even insulin resistance being associated with celiac?
