knee pain limiting movement

I have degenerative arthritis in both knees.  Any pressure is painful, past surgeries removed cartlidge and I can't do bicycle movement.  Standing in one spot produces pain that won't allow me to move without excruciating pain. What exercise can I do?  Anything sitting--exercise for the handicapped?
