Loosing It

My husband was recently diagonsed (6 wks ago) with type 1 diabetes. He's being treated with an oral medication, which is contradictory to everything I've read. Great Site

My sister and two maternal aunts have/had diabetes. One aunt died from complications from it last year and my sister is now on a kidney transplant list amongst her other complications for uncontrolled diabetes.
