Hi All, I was diagnosed with D in April. My readings were 128 so it was not that far advanced. I was put on a regimen of metformin 500mg 2x/day. Sept was my 3 month check up and my A1C was 5.3. how does it take to start losing weight from byetta?

i need to know how long will it take to start losing weight with the byettaand i am currently taking it and it works with keeping blood sugars under control.

New to this ....

I have been a family member to diabetes for over a year now since my husband was diagnoised with Type 2. I am just getting tested and am in the first stages. Some "good" news....

I thank you both for your messages, they DID definitely encourage me. Last week I got back some test results and the dr. informed me one's iron count should be between 20 and 160----mine is 7!
