Eyesight

At a Glance

Diabetic retinopathy, a complication of diabetes, is characterized by damage to the retina which could lead to blindness.  Though problems with eye health occur in a large number of diabetics, proper treatment and management of diabetes and frequent monitoring of the eyes can prevent such outcomes.
