Cause Of Obesity Psychological

New obesity med may share Acomplia's psychological side effects

The results from a Phase III clinical trial suggest that the obesity med taranabant may produce some of the same psychological side effects as the controversial drug Acomplia. Researchers say the recommended dose of taranabant did not produce the targeted 5-percent weight loss in study participants. A double dose (4 mg) did produce weight loss, but it also doubled the incidence disturbing psychological side effects such as suicidal thoughts. Read more »
