A new medical procedure may help ease the pain of diabetic
neuropathy. The outpatient procedure involves making small
incisions in order to decompress the nerves that cause the pain and
swelling. Doctors hope the new treatment will prevent amputations
associated with chronic diabetic neuropathy.
