Diabetes Sun Sensitivity
A biotechnology company in Australia has submitted a new drug application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for a medication for people with severe sun sensitivity. The drug, famelanotide, works by stimulating the body's dark pigmentation that protects people from the sun's UV rays.
