Diabetes Symptoms Blood Sugar

Internet-based program may aid diabetics

Diabetics who use online tools to manage their disease have improved blood sugar control, a new study has found. Researchers in Seattle say that visits to a doctor’s office aren’t enough help for many diabetics who struggle to manage their weight and blood sugar from home. The study found that 33 percent of those who used an Internet-based management program for one year had their blood sugar under control, while 11 percent of non-users had achieved blood sugar control.
