Obesity surgery may lead to memory problems for some

Patients who experienced persistent nausea after weight-loss surgery may suffer from a dangerous vitamin deficiency, a new study suggests. Researchers say a vitamin B1 or thiamine deficiency caused by gastric bypass surgery can lead to a condition called Wernicke encephalopathy.
