Exercises For Losing Weight

Losing weight may improve urinary incontinence in overweight and obese women, a new study suggests. Researchers say that women who lost 17 pounds over the course of a six-month study reduced their number of weekly incontinence episodes by almost half. Losing weight was particularly helpful when it came to stress incontinence and it helped women as much as pelvic muscle exercises, researchers said. Experts say they hope this study will help motivate women who fear incontinence during exercise.
