of a diet program. Drugs like Topamax, Wellbutrin, Glucophage, and
Ritalin have been found to cause unintentional weight loss in
patients using them for their approved conditions. But the
so-called off-label use of these drugs solely for weight loss can
put patients at risk for damaging side effects.
