Today Sanofi announced a temporary shortage of Apidra, rapid acting insulin, in the Solostar pen format. The shortage is due to technical problem experienced in Frankfort Germany. While it is temporary, it is concerning to all of us who use Solostar pens, and worthy of taking action! I just ordered a new supply, in the hopes of getting myself through the shortage.
