Taking insulin may soon be as easy as using a mouth spray. Oral-lyn is a small canister that delivers a spray of insulin into the mouth when squeezed. Drugmaker Generex hopes to get the med approved in Canada in 2008 and in the United States by 2009. The company has also developed a medicinal chewing gum that delivers a dose of the diabetes med metformin. Read more »
