A new report has found that there are several promising medications
to treat metabolic syndrome. Metabolic syndrome can be a precursor
to Type 2 diabetes. But researchers have found that meds such as
metaglidasen, Actos, Avandia, Januvia, Galvus, and Byetta can
improve glucose control in patients whose metabolic syndrome has
not yet developed into diabetes. The report also suggests that the
obesity med Acomplia may treat the disorder as well.
