Treated Diabetes Mellitus By Soncus Plant

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cracked down on several companies who are producing unapproved versions of a skin cream and an eye wash. The skin cream contains an enzyme found in the papaya plant, and is used to treat skin ulcers and other diabetic wounds, and the eye wash is used to keep eyes moist during surgery. Three companies--B. Braun, Baxter, and Hospira--have been ordered to file for FDA approval or cease production by November 24, 2008.
