A new study has found that vitamin K slows insulin resistance in men, but not in women. Researchers followed 355 non-diabetic men and women between the ages of 60 and 80. One group took a daily supplement that amounted to five times the recommended daily allowance of vitamin K along with calcium and vitamin D.
