Eating an egg a day may double the risk of death for diabetics, according to a new study. A research team used annual questionnaires to analyze the eating habits and overall health of more than 21,000 men ages 40 to 86 over about 20 years. Among participants with diabetes, eating seven or more eggs a week doubled their risk of death from all causes, compared with diabetic men who ate just one egg each week.
